Really enjoyed your show in Ormskirk last Friday, and I had the best plane! First show I've been to so I didn't know what to expect as like others The Bradshaws exist in my head. Dug my tapes out the next day "There are many reasons why cows don't have horns, some are de-horned some are born without, but the reason why this cow doesn't have horns is because it's a bloody horse!" cheers

The Bradshaws are on various radio stations at different times of day but if you want it twice a night at 11.15pm and a different episode an hour later then you need Abbey FM at abbeyfm.co.uk and listen to Bill Clark. I`m in Nottingham and tune in on line every night just to hear it. Dont think any other radio does it late night so its nice to hear it before bed.

When I was younger, I loved the Bradshaws. I always used to listen with my sister and my parents. We all loved the stories. I had the 1-6 and 7-12 cassette box sets, but lost them. I had kind of forgotten all about the Bradshaws, until I accidently came across the CDs on Ebay. I've now bought the 25 CD box set. It is so good to have the Bradshaws back. These stories are absolute genious. Thank you so much Buzz. The collection is going to be greatly treasured. Just before I sign off, one little question . Are there any plans to bring out Billy's Ded Gud Hadventures on CD? I remember that cassette and I loved it. But I no longer have it. It would be fantastic if you could release it. Cheers, Mark

Thanks for such a wonderful series, I downloaded them onto my I-Pod and listen to them while walking to work. I'm sure there have been reports of a mad person walking down peoples street suddenly bursting out laughing for no apparent reason! Two questions - We now have 25 discs of the Bradshaws - are there any plans for more episodes? Just what is the bit at the end of each episode(Thewy?) does it have a significance?

I can't remember when I first heard the Bradshaws, but I remember hearing it a lot after I got my first radio 20 years ago. This was before Picadilly split into Gold & Key 103. I've not looked at the spoken word section of Manchester's HMV for a while, but I remember at one time there was a load of the tapes a few years back, that was when I had almost forgotten about them.

Just bought this from iTunes. Used to listen all the time with my Mum when I was a kid. It's a shame the recordings aren't the same as the old tapes (must have changed the script when it was rerecorded), but it's still really funny. The originals are a bit better though. and you'd have had to heard it a hundred time to notice the difference. CHEERS!

Buzz - what a night at Rolls Royce in Barnoldswick! Martin Eede, chief executive of the Yorkshire air Ambulance says he and his wife had a fantastic evening, & I've just received this message from a member of the club committee: "Everyone - just a note to say that everything to do with the Bradshaws last night was excellent. I've been using RR club for going on 50 years - and I do not remember a better evening's entertainment". That sums it up perfectly. What a night! James Wilson, Fresh Radio

Just been eating my tea and my little sister made a remark about a lad they call Billy Bradshaw at school because he has no mates. This prompted me to remember all the happy times I used to have listening to the Bradshaws tapes when I used to visit my Uncle and cousin in Oldham when I was younger. I've not seen them for nearly 10 years but everytime I think of the Bradshaws it brings back many happy memories. Need to get my hands on a few of the cds now. Thanks!!

Hi, I'm an avid collector of The Bradshaws (have been ever since my brother introduced them to me a few years back), have all the twenty volumes of tapes plus the extras like the fanclub tapes and Dead Good Hadventures and I have just recently got my CDs. While I'm very impressed with the mastering quality (wow! Is that really the original studio quality of volume 1? It makes the tape seem so passe!) I was admittedly a bit disappointed to find that vols 7 through about I think 11 were not preserved as they were, the second generation. You redid those for the CD and while I think they sound very good, I'm not entirely sure yet whether I prefer them. The previous ones were, I think, very fitting in the current set, in that volumes before and after did not feel too alien or unusual by comparison (when you redid the earlier volumes again, you did a good job of preserving the spirit) of the originals and making them sound much like the latest ones, without all that fluffy quaint rhythm, but by volume 7 they had developed into a very reasonable form, not unlike the very modern ones). To a familiar Bradshaws listener, the replacements are a bit uncomfortable. Maybe it's a matter of time, but do you think you could consider, just for completeness and the determinedly curious, chucking about some collectibles of the old and new music, old episodes from the various generations, or whatever else you think fans would like to keep? It would be cool to see how The Bradshaws developed over the years and for those who liked the earlier revisions to have CDs instead of tapes, which is basically what I was expecting when I ordered. Anyway, good work, and at last your dream is realised - you have the Bradshaws on CD! Keep it up! Cheers, Sabahattin

Hi, Just read the newsletter - great work! Sad to hear about Rick Hudson. I saw the show a couple of years back at Bacup Theatre. Went with a few friends from up that way and it was a great show and we all came out with aching jaws from laughing so much!!! I've also been watching a home recording of you recently which was filmed by Graham Randall when you did a show at the Conservative Club in Hollingworth in aid of band funds - I think it may have been that George Hudson bloke who roped you into that one!! The Raji Sing Song is definitely still a favourite!!! I will be going to the show on 29th at Tameside Hippodrome so look forward to more laughs then! Keep up the good work :-)
